Vacuum Cleaner Hospital (VCH) opened for business on March 10, 1986 with the goal of providing quality health care for Chapel Hill's ailing vacuum cleaner population. At the same time, an adoption program was instituted in order to place top quality vacuums into deserving homes. Since then, VCH has grown from a one-person operation on Durham-Chapel Hill Blvd. to its present location with seven wonderful employees. Today the average number of "patients" can range from 75 to 120 per week.

Our goal has always been to provide our customers with superior service and the very best products to suit your cleaning needs. In fact, we recently trademarked a slogan we feel reflects our philosophy concerning the products and services we provide. "Essentials for Clean Living"
